Our vision at HSSF Hyderabad is to create a community of individuals who are dedicated to living a life guided by faith and love. We strive to make a positive impact on the world by spreading kindness and compassion to those around us.
The Global Foundation for Civilisational Harmony-India (GFCH-India) conceived and organized the Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair (HSS Fair) to showcase the service activities of Hindu spiritual and community organizations. The aim is to dispel misconceptions about Hindu civilization and India as a nation.
GFCH India was officially launched in January 2008 by a distinguished group of spiritual leaders, intellectuals, and eminent personalities, including His Holiness the Dalai Lama, former President of India Dr. Abdul Kalam, Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati (Founder of Arsha Vidya Research Centre), Swami Baba Ramdev (Founder of Divya Yog Mandir Trust), Guruji Sri Sri Ravishankar (Founder of Art of Living Foundation), Jathedar Joginder Singh Vedanti (Former Chief of Akal Takht), Cardinal Oswald Gracias (Head of the Roman Catholic Church in India and Archbishop of Mumbai), Dr. Maulana Mahmood Ali Madani (Islamic Scholar and Jamiat Leader Chief of Darul Uloom, Deoband), Acharya Mahapragya (Eminent Jain Guru and Founder of Science of Living), and Rabbi Ezekiel Isaac Malekar (India's most prominent Jewish leader in Delhi)
The gathering represented the entire religious spectrum, with an audience that included some of the most respected citizens of Delhi HSS Fairs encourage organizations to engage in public service, not as a means of conversion, but based on the belief that noble deeds transcend life and contribute to enduring goodness
The core message of the Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair is deeply rooted in the inseparable connection between Desam (Nation), Deivam (Divinity), and Dharmam (Hindu value system). It emphasizes that our Nation (Desam) cannot thrive without our Divinity (Deivam), and our Divinity (Deivam) is incomplete without the Nation (Desam). Both, in turn, are sustained by the Hindu value system (Dharmam). The six themes of the fair are woven into this value system (Dharmam), practiced in this ancient land (Desam), and are exemplified by the Divine (Deivam).
One of the most attractive features of the Fairs is the cultural programs held at the Fair Venue, running from 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM. These programs are performed by participating spiritual organizations and IMCTF-associated schools, offering a variety of cultural performances. The cultural events draw large crowds of enthusiastic visitors.
Hundreds of schools participate in thematic competitions and traditional sports and games at the Fair venue. A key highlight of the Fairs has been the active involvement of schools in various competitions conducted on-site. In the Sixth Fair, these competitions were redesigned to align with six core themes, and native games were also revived. During the 7th Fair, 376 competitions, all based on the six IMCTF themes derived from scriptures, literary works, art, and culture, were organized. A total of 7,350 students from 267 schools, including 13 Corporation and Government schools, participated in the finals. Sastra University, a regular sponsor, awarded prize coupons worth Rs. 13 lakhs to 1,355 winners
